While Advancing ProgressIn September 1966, Tianjin Watch Factory’s engineers realized a momentous achievement - the successful development of the ST5 movement powering the new DongFeng watch. As an upgrade from the Model 51, it was China’s first self-designed and manufactured watch, marking a significant milestone.
The radiating brushed dial exudes a subtle interplay of light, its metallic copper hue echoing traditional lacquered Sunray patterns. The red tip of the seconds hand keeps pace as our industry surges onward.
