Honoring the Past, Crafting the Future - A Timeless Masterpiece Reborn
In September 1966, Tianjin Watch Factory engineers achieved another milestone - the successful development of the DongFeng watch with the self-designed ST5 movement. As an upgrade to the Model 51, it was China's first self-manufactured watch - a remarkable achievement. The Seagull 2130 workhorse movement exemplifies our commitment to quality timepieces accessible to all.
The retro Sunray dial in Orient White recalls classic styles, while the 6 o'clock "Serve the People" motto affirms our values. Paired with the iconic hands and red seconds hand, the minimal dial preserves timeless origins. The domed sapphire crystal forms a "celestial vault" over the dial, amplifying clarity for optimal readability as the hands glide smoothly around. This reissue marries heritage and innovation, honoring the ingenuity of past pioneers while incorporating modern techniques. As we reflect on achievements past, the future unfolds with promise.
