February 15, 1985, marked a historic day in China's history as the country's first Antarctic research station, Great Wall Station, was completed on King George Island, South Shetland Islands, Antarctica. The Chinese expedition, displaying remarkable perseverance and intelligence, set foot on King George Island in just 45 days, with the construction phase lasting only 27 days.
In 2024, Sea-Gull Watch pays tribute to the 40th anniversary of China's Antarctic exploration, commemorating the magnificent moment of China's Antarctic expedition in 1985. Bearing the name of the Great Wall, it carries the spirit of China. Since 1955, Sea-Gull Watch has accompanied Antarctic expedition teams, witnessing the glorious rise and continuous prosperity of China's scientific exploration endeavors.

Function
Hours, minutes, seconds and date.
Luminous hands, water resistant to 200m, rotating diver's bezel for diving timing.
Recreating the straight lugs of the original model, with smooth lines exuding a sense of power, and baton-style hour and minute hands, evoking the charm of time's passage.
The dot on the seconds hand symbolizes polar exploration, with each rotation feeling like being immersed in the vast expanse of Antarctica, bravely exploring the unknown world.
The domed synthetic sapphire crystal forms a raised "dome," with a high level of manufacturing difficulty and a light transmittance rate of 99.6%. This ensures clearer time reading, making it seem as if time is flowing right before your eyes.
In 1984, Sea-Gull Watch (formerly Tianjin Watch Factory) sponsored China's first Antarctic exploration team, stepping into the mysterious frozen realm of exploration.
They specially customized the ST5B watch for the Antarctic exploration team. In the blurry passage of time, amidst the tumultuous waves and freezing cold, Sea-Gull Watch, with its excellent timing ability, strong cold resistance, and stability, escorted the explorers on their journey of exploration.
The three-dimensional relief of the Antarctic continent rises majestically, with detailed interplay of light and shadow and undulating design outlining the Antarctic landscape. It immerses you in the vast, snowy expanse, allowing you to feel the biting cold winds and endless glaciers. The unique texture, resembling flowing seawater, presents a vivid and grand seascape of the polar regions.
The stylish stainless steel bracelet exudes classic sophistication, while the blue nylon strap radiates sporty appeal.
The counterclockwise rotating bezel allows precise timekeeping. The embossed case back features a vintage Sea-Gull fighting against the waves, symbolizing a spirit of resilience and determination.
With 200 meters of water resistance, this watch takes you into uncharted territories. Crafted from 316L stainless steel with a screw-down crown design, it allows for easy time reading even at depths of hundreds of meters. Venture into the deep sea and boldly explore the unknown.
Under the mysterious purple light, hidden details reveal the contours of the Antarctic continent and the locations of China's five Antarctic research stations, subtly showcasing the glory of a nation's exploration on your wrist.
The five Chinese Antarctic research stations are: Great Wall Station, Zhongshan Station, Taishan Station, Kunlun Station, and Qinling Station.
