In 1955, Seagull Watches created China's first wristwatch, the "Five Star," ending the nation's reliance on watch repairs and establishing China's watchmaking industry. Seagull achieved numerous milestones, including China's first air force chronograph, self-designed watch, and Antarctic expedition timepiece.
Driven by innovation, Seagull holds 1,457 patent applications and 1,370 authorized patents, leading the domestic industry. The brand has developed 25 high-end complex movements, launched 339 high-end watches, and achieved significant annual production and sales.
To celebrate its 70th anniversary, Seagull released a replica of the "Five Star" watch. The brand also unveiled a silicon hairspring movement, marking a breakthrough in materials and technology. Additionally, ultra-thin automatic high-frequency tourbillon and Rattrapantesplit seconds chronograph movements demonstrate Seagull's continued innovation in movement technology.
