With the ST1961 rattrapante platform at its core, Seagull Rattrapante Blue Dial Edition 2.0: preserving the signature split-seconds architecture and the iconic 10 o’clock pusher that controls the “split—read—catch-up” mechanism. Housed in a titanium case with a multi-layered dial, this new release brings a high-complication chronograph into a more daily-wearable context.

1) Why “2.0”:
This is the official launch of the Seagull Rattrapante Blue Dial Edition. While the movement architecture remains unchanged, the upgraded color palette and improved legibility deliver a more refined overall experience.

2) The purpose of a rattrapante:
It allows efficient comparison of two closely timed intervals down to the second—ideal for track laps, segment timing, running splits, and any scenario requiring dual time readings.

3) Hardcore specs:
ST1961 manual-wind movement (27 jewels / 21,600 vph / ~45h power reserve), titanium case 42.5 × 16 mm, 50 m water resistance, 10 o’clock split-seconds pusher, and a multi-faceted exhibition caseback.
4) Versions & availability:
Seagull Rattrapante Chronograph collection limited to 500 pieces (first batch). Indicative retail price: approx. $4,299.
The Seagull Rattrapante Blue Dial Edition 2.0 marks the first release in the upcoming color-evolution series and will officially launch on December 15. Stay tuned. For more information, please contact vip@seagullwatches.com
