Description

Savoring Time, Reflecting on Classics.

On March 26, 1955, "Tianjin Workers' Daily" published the news that "China has successfully produced its own watches." Tianjin Watch Factory, with the beating of a "Chinese heart," proudly announced the completion of China's transition from "watch repair" to "watch manufacturing," giving birth to the first domestically produced Chinese watch, the "Five-Star Watch."

On April 23, 1957, with the birth of China's first mass-produced watch, the "May 1st Watch," Tianjin Watch Factory moved into its first factory located in the Hongqiao district, marking the beginning of the chapter for China's mechanical watch manufacturing industry.

The radial brushed texture and the traditional copper spray-painted sunburst polishing bring out the metallic luster of the dial. The May 1st commemorative logo at six o'clock inherits the classic design of the May 1st watch. Square date display window, easy to read. 316L stainless steel with gold-plating, forged through multiple processes, finely polished. Synthetic sapphire crystal, with a Mohs hardness of 9, providing high transparency and excellent resistance to abrasion.
